Our Leadership Team

Head Coach Lawrence is an experienced swimming coach with over 15 years of coaching experience across USA Swimming, Collegiate, Masters, and International programs. He has guided athletes ranging from developing age group swimmers to Junior National, National, and International level athletes. A former high-level competitive swimmer himself, Lawrence is dedicated to developing strong technique, fostering a positive team culture, and helping swimmers reach their full potential while enjoying the sport.

Coach Tyler has over six years of competitive swimming experience at both PSL and on the Varsity Swim Team at Mills High School. During his time on the Varsity Swim Team, he competed all four years at Peninsula Athletic League Swimming, placing in the top division for the 50m and 100m breast stroke swim. In his first year of swimming at Mills, Tyler received the Coach's Award for the Mills Swim Team.

Coach Brandon brings a strong background in aquatics, competitive swimming, and youth development to the Daly City Dolphins. He grew up swimming competitively in Alameda, including four years of varsity swimming, where he specialized in backstroke. He has experience teaching swim lessons and coaching swimmers at the age-group, junior varsity, and varsity levels, giving him experience working with swimmers across a wide range of ages and developmental stages. His coaching emphasizes stroke technique, skill development, endurance, and competitive performance.

Coach Agnes returns to the Daly City Dolphins as a coach after growing up as a competitive swimmer with DCD, where she set multiple team records that still stand today. She also competed nationally in artistic swimming with the San Francisco Marionettes, earning multiple medals (gold and silver) at the 2025 USA Artistic Swimming Junior Olympic Championships.

An accomplished athlete and artist, Agnes brings creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love of the water to DCD. She is excited to give back to the program and help the next generation of Dolphins develop their skills and confidence.

Coach Elias brings several years of competitive swim coaching experience to his role as an Assistant Coach with the Daly City Dolphins. He previously coached with the Manteca Dolphins Swim Team as both a Junior Coach and Assistant Coach, supporting practices, stroke development, technique, conditioning, and athlete development. Elias enjoys helping swimmers build their skills, confidence, and love for competitive swimming while creating a positive and supportive team environment.

Coach Jason joins the Daly City Dolphins after growing up as a year-round competitive swimmer with Bellevue Club Swim Team. He competed primarily in individual medley and breaststroke events and developed a strong interest in stroke technique, race strategy, and training throughout his years in the sport.

After stepping away from competitive swimming during college, Jason is excited to return to the pool on the coaching side. He enjoys helping swimmers better understand how they move through the water, refine their technique, and build confidence in racing.
